Scarlett UpdateJust to give you a quick update, Scarlett is doing extremely well! She's gaining weight and all of our troubles seem to be behind us, yay! She has her 2 months appt at the end of June. The doctor gave us strict instructions to keep her "in" until she has her vaccinations at her 2 months appt. Even though that sounds so far away, I'm willing to do it to prevent her from catching anything only to have a hard time fighting off something. I'm really not interested in spending another second in NICU!
On another note, Jeremiah went back to work last Tue after being off for 3 weeks. I've been managing pretty good, sort of. Every once in a while I over do it and my incision from the c-section hurts really bad. Yesterday it finally hit me. Just because I feel fine doesn't mean that I am fine. I've been trying to take it easy but that has been hard to do. In fact, trying to keep me in one place for an extended period of time is hard. Not only that, I'm beginning to suffer from cabin fever.
By the way, Scarlett is no longer sleeping in 4 hour blocks at night. I should have known that was too good to be true. Now, she wakes up every 2 1/2 or 3 hours during the night. Other than that, we really are enjoying our newest member in the Prickett camp. She is such a sweetie! Here are a couple of pictures that I have taken since Scarlett has been home. Enjoy!

Scarlett's 1st bath at home.
Entertaining me after bath time.
I think Scarlett is done entertaining and ready for a nap.

Scarlett loves to take a nap after her bath. I love her curly hair! She was definitely having a great hair day! This is my favorite picture to date.

Jeremiah was EXTREMELY tired. Poor guy. By the way, Scarlett loves taking her naps!

Scarlett can look so serious sometimes.

Scarlett loves the camera! Well, sometimes she does.

Such a pleasant girl.

All played out and ready for another nap.
Then There Was Mother's Day

After church, my family came over to wish me happy mother's day. Here's my mom and she was in full force.

Dad and Scarlett. Love you daddy!

After all of the excitement...and after the Keeton's left...Jeremiah and Scarlett fell asleep on the sofa. Jeremiah sleeps with his arm over his head and I guess Scarlett inherited that trait from him. They are too cute!

I'm posting this picture because Jeremiah likes it.

I'm posting this picture because I like it. Everyday I wonder where Scarlett gets her double chin???

Here's Liz and I. Thanks again for the pink carnation Berry!
I can't believe 2 weeks have gone by since my last post! Now that Scarlett is here, I have a sneaky suspicion that I'll have less time to blog. Hopefully, another 2 weeks won't go by before I get to blog again!
