On April 27th Savannah tried solid for the first time. For her delight, I prepared her oatmeal mixed with formula. Naturally, she threw a fit but by the end of her meal, she was pretty calm and content.
This was after her first bite. She realized very quickly that the mush I was giving her was not mama's milk! She let me know all about it, too! Whenever she cries REALLY hard, she turns really red and splotchy. This was one of those moments.
This is toward the end of her meal. I think she realized that the oatmeal wasn't so bad.
